I loved the reminder texts and the fact that you asked if I was lost on the day. Great communication made me feel like I was wanted to participate. Will definitely recommend to friends.
Had a great time. Felt like my ideas were being heard. Would do another one anytime.
Amazing experience - free quality food, friendly staff members, and a venue with excellent and thought out interior design.
I really enjoyed my first task. The interaction with other participants and the facilitator was good, and the task itself was interesting. I felt I was able to provide valuable feedback.
Getting involved in market research should be easy, fun and rewarding. At Telmy, we’re committed to making the process a great experience for participants and the researcher.
All you need to do is to be honest and open, get involved, tell the researchers what you really think and enjoy. If you’re thinking about getting involved, here are some things you should know;
We are always upfront about what’s involved in any project, so you can decide BEFORE you commit to anything if it’s right for you or not.
Getting involved is based on eligibility. Researchers are usually looking for certain criteria. You might not qualify for every project you apply for. It's nothing personal, it's just how the research process works.
You’ll only be able to participate occasionally. People who attend sessions too often become ‘trained’ and this changes their ability to answer naturally and honestly.
Market research is about sharing opinions! And opinions are needed in all sectors…private companies, the government, charities, and community groups all need people to participate in research. This usually involves getting together for a chat, and there are a few different ways this might happen…
Focus Group Discussions
A group of about 8 people chatting through a range of topics with a researcher in a fun and interactive way
A one-on-one chat with a researcher where you share your thoughts and opinions
You get to take a researcher shopping – they tell you what to shop for and come along to see what you do
Give your feedback without leaving home. Online research can be conducted via desktop or mobile phone and there are a number of ways to get involved. You’ll find out the exact details when you’re invited to participate in the project.
On-site or In-home Interviews
The researcher comes to you for a chat at your home or office where you get to tell them what you think about a certain topic
Product Testing and Trials
You get to try out a new product and are asked to provide feedback either in person or online
